Just CFO is led by Richard Wertheim – a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of hands-on financial and commercial experience. Richard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa in the 1990s, and moved to the UK in 2000.
After holding senior finance positions in a number of blue-chip companies, Richard embarked on an entrepreneurial journey.
Richard founded Just Sheepskin – justsheepskin.com – and successfully led and built the company from scratch. Just Sheepskin grew into a premium brand of consumer goods, supplying leading high street retail chains including John Lewis, House of Fraser, Next, and Selfridges.
Just Sheepskin was approached by multiple companies for acquisition purposes, and after a 10-year period, Richard sold Just Sheepskin to Totes Isotoner Corporation, the world’s leading designer, marketer, and distributor of cold-weather accessories.
This experience of having founded, built, and sold a successful company from scratch has, in turn, given Richard first-hand knowledge and experience to help other ambitious SME owners do the same.
